Biography
Mike was joint founder of the company some 40 years ago. Beforehand he worked as a local government transport planner and as a University lecturer and researcher.
Mike’s experience includes the development of national freight modelling, global trade and shipping databases and models and ferry systems. He has advised extensively in the ports and freight industry, both in the public and private sector.
What motivates Mike
Determining cost efficient freight solutions while taking into account public interest values, and identifying how those interests can be reflected in the decision making processes of the freight industry.
Outside work
Mike has founded and chairs a pop-up art gallery community interest company in Chester and is a keen hill walker.
