Biography
Michael has been with the company for 23 years and brings more than 27 years’ experience within the logistics and freight transport sector to the team.
Michael specialises in logistics, road and rail freight operations, transport economics, the planning system and transport policy analysis and development. Before joining MDS Transmodal, Michael worked for 5 years in the Third Party Logistics sector, both as a Contract Manager and Project Implementation Manager.
Michael advises clients in both the public and private sectors, and has previously provided expert witness evidence at public planning inquiries on rail freight and logistics matters.
What motivates Michael
Michael wants to see more freight and passengers using rail, and many of his projects involve advising clients in this area.
Outside work
Michael enjoys hill walking and watching most sports that involves two teams and a ball!

MSc Transport Studies, Cardiff University
Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence, National and International
